The modest resting place of HP Lovecraft.
Nice of the park staff to leave the little junky bits of tribute in place. I didn't notice, but was later told, that a picture of Lovecraft is mounted on the monument opposite (behind the camera here), overlooking his own grave. I can't think of anyone who would prefer staring at his own resting spot for an eternity. Though I'm guessing, one way or another, death magically satisfies any morbid curiosity one might have suffered in life. His epitaph is "I am Providence." Hmmm.
