That got me thinking about the Morton Salt Girl, and the day a new and completely strange little girl appeared on the box of salt. A smug, angsty, late '60s kind of girl. That was the day I realized the salt was not to be trusted. I looked them all up, and here they are. I think Mother used to kvetch about the day the 1941 girl changed into the 1956 one.
Oh. Her motto is "when it rains, it pours." Because when it's wet out, you know...the salt, it pours freely.
